Postage Charges and Delivery Arrangements

England, Wales, Scottish Mainland - Only. For orders under £20.00, we charge £4.00 postage. This ensures that all small orders are sent recorded delivery, as we frequently get complaints of none-delivery for small items such as combs etc. Presently we only deliver to UK mainland addresses. If we can send orders at reasonable cost via Royal Mail to addresses in Great Britain and Northern Ireland with UK post codes [zip codes], we will do so, however, as we do not presently charge for postage for orders over £19.99, we reserve the right to refund on any order outside of the UK mainland. We will automatically refund on orders to any overseas addresses, unless a BFPO address can be supplied.

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, but not at weekends, so orders placed after 2.00pm on a Friday will not be processed until the following Monday. Saturday delivery will only occur for orders sent Royal Mail, and delivery is then subject to Royal Mail's own operating procedures.

We endeavor to despatch all orders within 1or 2 working days. If   a parcel is returned due to non-delivery you will be liable for all reshipping costs.

Please note: We  sell only within the UK mainland and all money received for orders from elsewhere will be refunded.

Out Of Stock Items

If  any item on your order is out of stock for more than 5 working weekdays, we will advise you of this by email and suggest one of the following options:
 
1. That we  deduct this item from your order and arrange for the value of the item to be refunded to your PayPal account.

2. That we will advise on a suitably similar alternative and any price difference will be refunded to your PayPal account, if the alternative item is of lower value than your original order.  We will also bear the cost of any higher value ourselves or reserve the right not to offer an alternative.

3. That we can delay the shipment of your entire order until the requested item returns to our  stock.
 
4. That we ship any out of stock items at a later date. This option is  subject to the item not being flagged as "out of stock" on the website. If the item is tagged "out of stock" a refund will automatically be made.

Refund Policy

If goods are ordered in error, or if you decide that you do not want the items you have ordered, they may be returned at your own expense, within 21 days of the goods being delivered and signed for. We reserve the right to make a charge adjustment for any postage incurred by us on the original purchase, or for any damage sustained on return of the item.

Bearstreetonline accepts no liability for loss or damage during return transit. Confirmation of posting is not a guarantee of delivery nor of   return in good condition. All items should be returned via a "signed for" service. Alternatively  if you contact us, Bearstreetonline can arrange for the goods to be collected at cost to yourself, using our own preferred carrier.

Bearstreetonline will then effect a refund, less the original postage charges, and the collection charge if applicable, within 7 days of the goods being received by Bearstreetonline.

If any item in an order been opened or used, it will not be eligible for a refund.

Pricing

If any error is found in the prices shown on this website, Bearstreetonline will honour the price shown  on the occasion of the error.
Prices shown on the site may alter immediately after an error has been identified.

Missing items, or Goods incorrectly supplied or damaged

If any of the items in your order are damaged, you must notify us about  which items are damaged within 36 hours of signing for the goods.  We will then arrange uplift and replacement of the damaged goods.

If we are not notified within 36 hours we are unable to place a claim with our carriers and will not be able to replace the goods.

If we have accidentally sent you the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and we will arrange for our carriers return the incorrectly supplied item. Once the incorrect item has been returned we will replace it with the correct item.

If, on checking your order, you believe any items are missing from it, please contact us within 3 days of receipt and signing for your order and we will look into the matter and despatch any missing items. If you do not contact us within 3 days of receipt of your order, the sale will be regarded as having been completed to the satisfaction of both seller and purchaser.
